Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil Balm Review (Korean Skincare)

Oh heeey~ ♪(゚▽^*)ノ⌒☆

I'm so annoyed with myself. After finally getting back into a good habit and routine with my posts, I managed to fuck it all up, as per. My Polish friend from Uni came to stay with me for the past 2 weeks during resit period as she had two exams eleven days apart, and couldn't afford a hotel for that long. I'm surprised University doesn't offer some form of accommodation for international students that have to travel back for resit exams, some of which are several weeks apart, that's quite rude and incredibly inconveniencing for them! It's not like anyone's using the accommodation over summer, it's so dumb. I feel really bad for students who have to travel from further away than Poland. Co kurwa  (;¬_¬)

ANYWAYYY ahahahaha! Well, today's post is on the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm of the Pig-Nose Clear Black Head series by Holika Holika! You can find my previous review of the Perfect Sticker review, and my original haul post here.

I adore this Deep Cleansing Oil Balm! First off, it smells super refreshing, with a lemony citrus scent which smells just lovely (o^∀^) Given that I was rubbing this all over my nose for the past few weeks, I can tell you right now I really appreciated that it smelled nice ahahaha.

It's a fantastic balm that just melts into your skin, really. Again, I wasn't expecting any dramatic improvement given that my blackheads are so deeply ingrained into my pores that I doubt anything's going to ever really get rid of them (sigh), but I did see a small but pleasant improvement in their appearance. They seemed to look less dark and even a little bit smaller, and with the stage my blackheads are at, that's something I really appreciate! Unless I find a miracle product, I will have to be happy with tiny improvements such as these, and honestly I really am. y(^ヮ^)y

Any improvement, no matter how small, is still an improvement! Overall, I'm not expecting dramatic changes, and even a vague diminishing of the appearance of my blackheads gets a thumbs up from me ahahaha.

Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Perfect Sticker Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello, my lovelies!

Hope you've all had a nice day. Friday tomorrow!  (⌒▽⌒)☆

I posted a while back about my Holika Holika haul, where I bought all six items of the Pig-Nose Black Head Clear series, a skincare series designed to specifically target and remove black heads! While my skin has improved overall thanks to my Missha Chocolate Latte Cleansing Foam, I'm still stuck with deeply ingrained blackheads I've had since my teenage years, most prominently across my nose, sadly a very noticeable area (´_`。)

These Perfect Stickers are the first item of the series I tried, and as this one is more instant-results than the others, which I'll need to use for a few weeks for any noticeable difference to appear (or not), I'm able to review it after just a few uses. So, here we go!

Don't mind my bare face; thank god for my camera's soft-focusing ahaha. Probably unsurprisingly, these Perfect Stickers aren't that great. I've yet to find any sort of T-zone related blackhead-removing sticker or strip that really has any effect on my blackheads. I will say they looked a little less dark or prominent after each use, but only because I was looking exceedingly closely, it wasn't like I ripped them off and was like, oh wow!

However, for the price and the cute and fun packaging these Perfect Stickers aren't a bad purchase. I'm glad I tried them, and if you have blackheads that aren't as deeply ingrained as mine, then these might actually make a difference for you! To be honest, they're probably best for prevention of future black heads. As for me, these don't make as big a difference as the other products in the series might, so I'll carry on using the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm and will hopefully have a review for you in a couple of weeks (o^∀^)

Have you tried any Holika Holika products? Are you using any skincare that targets blackheads at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Series Haul

Hello all!

How are all you beauties doing? (`・ω・´)”

So, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've recently bought the whole Holika Holika Pig Nose Blackhead Clear collection! I wanted to do a haul post first to introduce all the products, as I've only been using a couple so far and need more time to test them all out and see if they make a difference to my skin.

So here they all are!

From left to right:

At the moment, I'm currently using the Perfect Stickers and the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm, haven't seen too much difference just yet, but I only started using them last week. I have a few other posts to occupy the blog with until I've been using them long enough to review them properly, so probably won't see any of these products for at least a week or so ahaha.

So far the couple I have used have been nice! Fresh smelling, pleasant to use, etc. Looking forward to trying them all out! (o≧▽゚)oニパッ

Beauty | Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello all of my gorgeous readers!

Welcome to my review of the Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack, the final installment of my Missha skincare trio! You can find the review of the Missha Latte Chocolate Cleansing foam here, and my review of the Missha Honey Butter Pack here.

Here we go!

Now, I really don't have as glowing a review to write about this Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack as I have the other Missha products. It smells quite bad, obviously it's unpleasantly sticky, and forget about peeling it off, it's SO PAINFUL. I have to use the Honey Butter Pack right after using this as my skin is so red raw and sore that it desperately needs soothing. And to top it all off, I honestly don't see that much of a difference in my skin in terms of black heads.

I've recently bought every product in the Holika Holika Pig Nose series (if you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen that, if not follow me with the button on the side, or by clicking here), so we'll see if any of those products make up for what this one lacks. Bit of a stinker if you ask me, wouldn't really recommend it.

Super disappointing end to the Missha trio series! Sorry about that, maybe I should've saved the best 'til last ahaha. Ah well, a Sunday Shorts on Sunday, and then on to the Holika Holika Pig Nose series!

Have you tried this Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack? Are there any other Missha products you're loving at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Missha Honey Butter Pack Review (Korean Skincare)

Hi beauties!

Here's my review of the Missha Honey Butter Pack, the second of the three Missha skincare products I bought a while back. You can read the first review of the Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam here. The third's coming soon!

This is lovelyyy~! Oh my goodness, I love this (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I usually use this product after using the Missha Ghassoul Peel-off Nose Pack, as after the peeling off part my skin feels quite tender and raw, so I use this Honey Butter Pack to soothe my skin. Which it does a tremendous job of, I might add!

It doesn't smell as strong or as delicious as the Chocolate Latte Cleansing Foam, but it does still smell quite sweet, though not much. You can keep this pack on for 15-20 minutes, and honestly, my skin is left feeling super soft afterwards, like, I can't stop stroking my own face ahahaha, plus it leaves my skin looking brighter too  (⌒▽⌒)☆

I wouldn't say the Honey Butter Pack makes a great deal of difference to my skin's appearance overall, but I'm always pleased with how it looks and feels after I use it. I also definitely feels it's a necessity after using the Ghassoul Nose Pack, as that really leaves my skin feeling in need of some honey/butter combo nourishment ahahaha. But if I didn't use the Ghassoul, I probably wouldn't need this pack so much, so I'd recommend it mainly if you have problems with dry or tired skin. Or if you just love this honey/butter craze ahaha, 'cause the scent is quite sweet and delicious.

Beauty | Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello everyone!

Apologies for not posting for foreverrr. I'm actually going to do a personal post next, as I've realised that I do put quite a bit of distance between my blog and my life, which is something I want to change. But, that's for next time. So, here we go!

I posted ages ago that I'd bought a few Missha skincare products, and now that I have both time and a laptop, I've finally got around to putting a review together! And without further ado, the Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam!

I LOVE THIS. Seriously. It smells delicious. Every time I smell it I just want to squeeze it directly into my mouth, it smells so sweet and chocolately, I can't even believe they got skincare to smell this good! It's amazing, not even real chocolate smells this good. It's the first thing you'll notice, so it's the first thing I've mentioned ahahaha.

Now, the actual benefits!. This is lovely. I have combination skin, it can get quite oily or greasy if I don't take care of it, and if I use skincare without moisturiser afterwards, then it dries out almost instantly. Therefore, I need to use gentle cleansers rather than anything too abrasive, as when my skin's dry it feels quite sore and tight, which is just a really unpleasant feeling, and this Missha Cleansing Foam is really nice and gentle.

You don't need much, a tad bigger than a pea-sized dollop (think coffee or kidney bean size if you want to get specific ahahaha), as it spreads really easily. The amount I used above was pea-sized as I didn't want to waste the product just for the picture, and as you can see it spread easily, and it would have spread much further if I'd bothered. It also foams up quickly which I think helps it spread.

Honestly, for the price, this product is fantastic value for money. I've been using this almost every day for months now, and not only has it lasted this long (in fact I think it's only just half gone), but my skin is honestly the clearest it's been in my entire life! I'm re-buying this the second it starts running low, although the way it's going I probably won't need to for quite a few more months ahaha.

I would honestly recommend this. This cleanser has zero bad qualities (unless your skin is like mine and gets dry after cleansing, in which case you'll need to use a moisturiser as always; I'm currently using Soap & Glory's The Fab Pore moisturiser which I'd recommend as it's lightweight and doesn't leave your skin greasy), and so many good ones like I've already mentioned; the value for money, how long it lasts, texture, smell, and of course how well it clears skin of blemishes, and keeps it clear!

Beauty | Missha Skincare Mini-Haul

Hello lovelies!

I mentioned in my Tuesday Teasings post a while back that over my hiatus I'd bought a few Missha skincare products, so I decided to do a mini-haul post on them. Of course I will be doing separate reviews on all three of them, but as I still need to take some photos for a couple of them, I thought a mini-haul post would be a good preview.

Sorry for the Instagram filter quality of the group picture, I appear to have accidentally deleted the original and had to rip that copy from my profile (-_-)ゞ゛Links to each product are underneath!

I bought all three to try to suit what I felt my skin needed at the time; I was breaking out a little and I've always had a major issue with blackheads (boohoo). So, I went for the Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam for my breakouts, and the Black Ghassoul Peel-off Nose Pack in an attempt to lessen the horrendous amount of blackheads I seem to have gained since I hit puberty ahahaha  。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。

The Honey Butter Pack was bought as a counter-active measure to what I assumed the effects would be of peeling off ghassoul from my skin, as I assumed it would leave my skin feeling pretty raw and desperate to be nourished ahaha. And, also to just sort of treat my skin every now and again  (´ ▽`).。o♡

Full reviews will be coming soon! Have you tried any of these three, or any other Missha skincare products? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Tuesday Teasings: Tonymoly Top 5 (Korean Cosmetics)

Hello again, my lovelies! How are you all doing? (○゚ε^○)

I've recently been very partial to Missha products and bought quite a few of them while on my hiatus, which you'll be seeing reviews of very soon, so I thought I'd change tack a bit and compile my top 5 Tonymoly products that I'm lusting after at the moment! I've always loved Tonymoly, but haven't bought any of their products in quite a while I think, so here's my Tuesday Teasings Top 5 List!

Now, I didn't pick a particular one of these, because when I finally get around to buying any at all, I'm probably going to buy quite a few ahaha. Plus I wouldn't want to recommend one I personally want, when one of you, my lovely readers, might want or need a different one! I like the look of quite a few of them, like the Rice mask, and also others like the Teatree, the Broccoli, the Avocado... basically all of them! There's such a wide variety to help make your skin more beautiful, no matter what your skin problems are.

I am obsessed with all these Korean butter skincare products at the moment!! I bought the Missha Honey Butter Pack while on my hiatus and I am absolutely in love with it  (‘∀’●)♡ The one I have is so rich and nourishing for my skin, so I'm really eager to try out some other butter products to keep my skin feeling moisturised and healthy.

Of course I had to include at least one Panda's Dream product, they're a classic for a reason! I've tried the eye stick, and the regular cream, and while I liked the eye stick I wasn't that big a fan of the regular cream, after application I honestly just looked like I was wearing zombie make-up or something ahaha, although to be fair at least that meant it worked in terms of evening out skin tone ahahaha. Therefore, I'm much more partial to the idea of the sleeping pack, as that way it can do its job without me feeling like an extra from the Walking Dead or something ahaha.

Again, I haven't chosen a specific one as I think I'm going to buy more than one! I'm quite partial to orange tones on my skin right now, so I'm leaning towards Tomato and Tangerine, although Grape looks like such a pretty pink/purple!

I'm really intrigued by this brightening lotion, it's part of a trio of skincare products, with the other two being a rice toner, and an avocado moisturiser. Out of the three I really want this lotion, and also the toner as I really need to add one to my routine!! But at the moment I am having a little issue with my skintone thanks to some mild scarring after I was on this hefty pain medication a couple of years ago, which gave me mild-medium acne on my cheeks. So, as this list evidently points out, I'm really focusing on evening out my skin tone, so I think this partnered with the Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack and a few sheet masks will really help me my skintone even out ヽ(*’-^*)。

And that's my Tuesday Teasings list for this week! Have any of you tried any of these Tonymoly products? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Tuesday Teasings: Korean Skincare eBay Wishlist (Korean Cosmetics)

Hello, my lovelies! How are you all? ヾ(´▽`*;)ゝ”

Welcome to another Tuesday Teasings! Whilst my current skincare routine of Soap & Glory's cleansers Scrub Your Nose In It and Scrubatomic, plus their Fab Pore moisturiser, is working for me, I'm fast running out. Therefore, I decided to put together another little wishlist of what Korean skincare products I'm lusting after at the moment. Here we go! ♪(゚▽^*)ノ⌒☆

I am in desperate need of some delicious intensive care for my skin ahahaha. I've been eyeing up this Black Sugar Mask from Skin Food for quite a while now, because it boasts a self-heating formula designed to cleanse, refresh, revitalise, soften, and tighten your skin. Seeing as I wear make-up every day, I'm having some serious cravings for a deep cleansing mask to make sure all the dirt, grime, and foundation is properly cleaned off and not clogging my skin. Skin Food have a couple of other "flavours" ahahaha, but this one caught my eye the most.

Ughhh, I have always had an issue with blackheads. I never had acne as a teenager, and even though my skin's not spectacular even now, I only get a couple of proper spots a month, usually when I'm PMSing or have been eating too much junk (which is constantly ahahaha I'm the worst for snacking!). However, what I lack in spots, I have always more than made up for in blackheads ahahaha (┳◇┳) Which is why I'm oh so infatuated with the sound of this Blackhead Clear from Lioele. After steaming your pores to help them open up, soak a cotton pad (see on the strawberry; not sure if the cotton pads are provided) with the product, and then place it on your nose, or wherever your blackheads are. It's designed to lift the sebum or dirt out of the pores so that you can wipe it away with a cotton bud, leaving your nose smoother and more clear (o^∀^) It's supposed to help control any over-production of sebum from then onwards also, as long as you continue you use it a couple of times a week. I want this soooo~~~ much ahahahaha! Top of my list right now.

Who doesn't love Etude House? I just ordered a blusher from them, which I'm super excited for! (^▽^) I think that a cleansing foam is a really good addition to my skincare routine, and this one from Etude House boasts the addition of baking powder as an ingredient, which is designed to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate your skin. I use a cleansing foam every other day or daily if it's gentle enough, so I'd really like to add this one to my routine.

I've not seen much of Mamonde before, but I do really like the look of this Rose Water Skin Toner of theirs. I've never actually used a toner before, but I'm all for trying new things, and toners come highly touted as a main step in an Asian skincare regime. I don't have sensitive skin per say, but I love the idea of having rose water as a main ingredient as it's designed to soothe and hydrate skin, which if I'm using a cleanser daily is quite necessary, as well as mildly exfoliate. Not high up on my list, but toners are definitely something I want to introduce to my routine.

Now, this just looks delicious ahaha. What is it about me and delicious sounding masks in this wishlist today ahahaha. This mask has three main ingedients: honey and butter obviously, and then potato, which was a bit unexpected for me ahahaha. But, whatever! Who am I to say potatoes aren't great for your skin, Korean skincare has never steered me wrong before. This Honey Butter Pack from Missha just looks oh so soothing and enriching, and it's designed to nourish and purify your skin, giving it a boost of extra radiance (´∀`)♡

Do you like the look of any of these products? Have you tried any of them? If you have any recommendations of Korean skincare you're using at the moment, I'm all ears ahahaha, so please let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Dolly Wink (ドーリーウインク) Ebay Wishlist (Japanese Cosmetics)

I've started a new job. This new job means a pay rise. I've also finished my 100 day spending ban (woohoo!). I think you can all guess what this means... Ahahahaha so basically I get paid in a few days, so I thought I would narrow down the list of cosmetics I want to try out, and one brand I've always wanted to try is the Japanese cosmetics brand Dolly Wink (ドーリーウインク). Below are my favourite picks from eBay (mainly chosen for free/super cheap shipping), so enjoy!

Koji Dolly Wink Eyebrow Pencil

Koji Dolly Wink Lower Eyeliner Pencil

Koji Dolly Wink Eyelashes by Tsubasa Masuwaka in #11 Pure Sweet

Koji Dolly Wink Eyelashes by Tsubasa Masuwaka in #9 Natural Dolly

Koji Dolly Wink Eyelashes Case

Out of this list, I think the item I want the most is a pair of the false eyelashes. I'm still too lazy to wear make-up to work (I wore it for the first week of my new job then gave up; sleep and studying take higher priority then spending half an hour slapping make-up on my face in the mornings), so I think that if I have a pair of those natural-looking falsies I have included in my wishlist above, they might just do the trick enough to give my eyes a little extra oomph without looking overdone.

This month, I also plan to get a pair of circle lenses and some decent skincare if I don't spend too much money when I go to London this weekend. All I really want right now is clear skin and beautiful big eyes. Is that too much to ask?? I guess I'll find out when I assess October's budget post-London. I have a feeling I'm going to be quite poor ahahahah!

Do you like Dolly Wink or Japanese cosmetics? What do you think of them? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
