Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil Balm Review (Korean Skincare)

Oh heeey~ ♪(゚▽^*)ノ⌒☆

I'm so annoyed with myself. After finally getting back into a good habit and routine with my posts, I managed to fuck it all up, as per. My Polish friend from Uni came to stay with me for the past 2 weeks during resit period as she had two exams eleven days apart, and couldn't afford a hotel for that long. I'm surprised University doesn't offer some form of accommodation for international students that have to travel back for resit exams, some of which are several weeks apart, that's quite rude and incredibly inconveniencing for them! It's not like anyone's using the accommodation over summer, it's so dumb. I feel really bad for students who have to travel from further away than Poland. Co kurwa  (;¬_¬)

ANYWAYYY ahahahaha! Well, today's post is on the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm of the Pig-Nose Clear Black Head series by Holika Holika! You can find my previous review of the Perfect Sticker review, and my original haul post here.

I adore this Deep Cleansing Oil Balm! First off, it smells super refreshing, with a lemony citrus scent which smells just lovely (o^∀^) Given that I was rubbing this all over my nose for the past few weeks, I can tell you right now I really appreciated that it smelled nice ahahaha.

It's a fantastic balm that just melts into your skin, really. Again, I wasn't expecting any dramatic improvement given that my blackheads are so deeply ingrained into my pores that I doubt anything's going to ever really get rid of them (sigh), but I did see a small but pleasant improvement in their appearance. They seemed to look less dark and even a little bit smaller, and with the stage my blackheads are at, that's something I really appreciate! Unless I find a miracle product, I will have to be happy with tiny improvements such as these, and honestly I really am. y(^ヮ^)y

Any improvement, no matter how small, is still an improvement! Overall, I'm not expecting dramatic changes, and even a vague diminishing of the appearance of my blackheads gets a thumbs up from me ahahaha.

Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Perfect Sticker Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello, my lovelies!

Hope you've all had a nice day. Friday tomorrow!  (⌒▽⌒)☆

I posted a while back about my Holika Holika haul, where I bought all six items of the Pig-Nose Black Head Clear series, a skincare series designed to specifically target and remove black heads! While my skin has improved overall thanks to my Missha Chocolate Latte Cleansing Foam, I'm still stuck with deeply ingrained blackheads I've had since my teenage years, most prominently across my nose, sadly a very noticeable area (´_`。)

These Perfect Stickers are the first item of the series I tried, and as this one is more instant-results than the others, which I'll need to use for a few weeks for any noticeable difference to appear (or not), I'm able to review it after just a few uses. So, here we go!

Don't mind my bare face; thank god for my camera's soft-focusing ahaha. Probably unsurprisingly, these Perfect Stickers aren't that great. I've yet to find any sort of T-zone related blackhead-removing sticker or strip that really has any effect on my blackheads. I will say they looked a little less dark or prominent after each use, but only because I was looking exceedingly closely, it wasn't like I ripped them off and was like, oh wow!

However, for the price and the cute and fun packaging these Perfect Stickers aren't a bad purchase. I'm glad I tried them, and if you have blackheads that aren't as deeply ingrained as mine, then these might actually make a difference for you! To be honest, they're probably best for prevention of future black heads. As for me, these don't make as big a difference as the other products in the series might, so I'll carry on using the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm and will hopefully have a review for you in a couple of weeks (o^∀^)

Have you tried any Holika Holika products? Are you using any skincare that targets blackheads at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Series Haul

Hello all!

How are all you beauties doing? (`・ω・´)”

So, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've recently bought the whole Holika Holika Pig Nose Blackhead Clear collection! I wanted to do a haul post first to introduce all the products, as I've only been using a couple so far and need more time to test them all out and see if they make a difference to my skin.

So here they all are!

From left to right:

At the moment, I'm currently using the Perfect Stickers and the Deep Cleansing Oil Balm, haven't seen too much difference just yet, but I only started using them last week. I have a few other posts to occupy the blog with until I've been using them long enough to review them properly, so probably won't see any of these products for at least a week or so ahaha.

So far the couple I have used have been nice! Fresh smelling, pleasant to use, etc. Looking forward to trying them all out! (o≧▽゚)oニパッ

Beauty | Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello all of my gorgeous readers!

Welcome to my review of the Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack, the final installment of my Missha skincare trio! You can find the review of the Missha Latte Chocolate Cleansing foam here, and my review of the Missha Honey Butter Pack here.

Here we go!

Now, I really don't have as glowing a review to write about this Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack as I have the other Missha products. It smells quite bad, obviously it's unpleasantly sticky, and forget about peeling it off, it's SO PAINFUL. I have to use the Honey Butter Pack right after using this as my skin is so red raw and sore that it desperately needs soothing. And to top it all off, I honestly don't see that much of a difference in my skin in terms of black heads.

I've recently bought every product in the Holika Holika Pig Nose series (if you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen that, if not follow me with the button on the side, or by clicking here), so we'll see if any of those products make up for what this one lacks. Bit of a stinker if you ask me, wouldn't really recommend it.

Super disappointing end to the Missha trio series! Sorry about that, maybe I should've saved the best 'til last ahaha. Ah well, a Sunday Shorts on Sunday, and then on to the Holika Holika Pig Nose series!

Have you tried this Missha Black Ghassoul Peel-Off Nose Pack? Are there any other Missha products you're loving at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty | Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam Review (Korean Skincare)

Hello everyone!

Apologies for not posting for foreverrr. I'm actually going to do a personal post next, as I've realised that I do put quite a bit of distance between my blog and my life, which is something I want to change. But, that's for next time. So, here we go!

I posted ages ago that I'd bought a few Missha skincare products, and now that I have both time and a laptop, I've finally got around to putting a review together! And without further ado, the Missha Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam!

I LOVE THIS. Seriously. It smells delicious. Every time I smell it I just want to squeeze it directly into my mouth, it smells so sweet and chocolately, I can't even believe they got skincare to smell this good! It's amazing, not even real chocolate smells this good. It's the first thing you'll notice, so it's the first thing I've mentioned ahahaha.

Now, the actual benefits!. This is lovely. I have combination skin, it can get quite oily or greasy if I don't take care of it, and if I use skincare without moisturiser afterwards, then it dries out almost instantly. Therefore, I need to use gentle cleansers rather than anything too abrasive, as when my skin's dry it feels quite sore and tight, which is just a really unpleasant feeling, and this Missha Cleansing Foam is really nice and gentle.

You don't need much, a tad bigger than a pea-sized dollop (think coffee or kidney bean size if you want to get specific ahahaha), as it spreads really easily. The amount I used above was pea-sized as I didn't want to waste the product just for the picture, and as you can see it spread easily, and it would have spread much further if I'd bothered. It also foams up quickly which I think helps it spread.

Honestly, for the price, this product is fantastic value for money. I've been using this almost every day for months now, and not only has it lasted this long (in fact I think it's only just half gone), but my skin is honestly the clearest it's been in my entire life! I'm re-buying this the second it starts running low, although the way it's going I probably won't need to for quite a few more months ahaha.

I would honestly recommend this. This cleanser has zero bad qualities (unless your skin is like mine and gets dry after cleansing, in which case you'll need to use a moisturiser as always; I'm currently using Soap & Glory's The Fab Pore moisturiser which I'd recommend as it's lightweight and doesn't leave your skin greasy), and so many good ones like I've already mentioned; the value for money, how long it lasts, texture, smell, and of course how well it clears skin of blemishes, and keeps it clear!

Beauty | Mineral Eye Shadow in Real Brown by Teen Teen Star Review (Korean Cosmetics)

Hi everyone! How are all you beauties doing? σ(^○^)

This is the last item I received in my Memebox a few months ago, and I know that people usually save the best 'til last but, sadly, it's my least favourite.

Sorry for the focusing square on this picture ahahaha, my camera froze as it took it so I had to take a screenshot of it to keep it, it was the only one that showed the eye shadow in the most natural light.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this eye shadow to be honest. It's just kind of... dull, I guess. You wouldn't even be able to tell I was wearing it were it not for the shimmer, and even then it's not very noticeable. So, I guess if you're looking for something fairly neutral that can catch the eye, this would be the eye shadow to go for.

One good thing about it is that due to its lightness in colour and shimmer, it appears much more gold on the lids than you'd expect. I think it transfers as a much, much nicer colour than it appears in the pot. All in all, it is a really nice colour, but I think it's more of a highlighting shimmer shadow rather than a full lid colour.

Anyway, that's the last item from my Memebox, which obviously means that I need to buy a new one (o≧▽゚)oニパッ ahahaha!

Beauty | Missha Skincare Mini-Haul

Hello lovelies!

I mentioned in my Tuesday Teasings post a while back that over my hiatus I'd bought a few Missha skincare products, so I decided to do a mini-haul post on them. Of course I will be doing separate reviews on all three of them, but as I still need to take some photos for a couple of them, I thought a mini-haul post would be a good preview.

Sorry for the Instagram filter quality of the group picture, I appear to have accidentally deleted the original and had to rip that copy from my profile (-_-)ゞ゛Links to each product are underneath!

I bought all three to try to suit what I felt my skin needed at the time; I was breaking out a little and I've always had a major issue with blackheads (boohoo). So, I went for the Creamy Latte Chocolate Cleansing Foam for my breakouts, and the Black Ghassoul Peel-off Nose Pack in an attempt to lessen the horrendous amount of blackheads I seem to have gained since I hit puberty ahahaha  。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。

The Honey Butter Pack was bought as a counter-active measure to what I assumed the effects would be of peeling off ghassoul from my skin, as I assumed it would leave my skin feeling pretty raw and desperate to be nourished ahaha. And, also to just sort of treat my skin every now and again  (´ ▽`).。o♡

Full reviews will be coming soon! Have you tried any of these three, or any other Missha skincare products? Let me know in the comments below!
