Beauty | Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Daily Micro Smoothing Moisture Lotion Review

Hey there, gorgeous people!

So as you maybe saw in my earlier haul post, I recently made quite a large purchase from Boots, including a re-purchase of my HG moisturiser, Soap & Glory's The Fab Pore Daily Micro Smoothing Moisture Lotion! Honestly my favourite moisturiser to date (○ﾟε^○)

Absolutely 100% my holy grail moisturiser. The moisturiser to end all moisturisers. One moisturiser to rule them all. Etc etc ahahaha (o≧▽ﾟ)oニパッ

No, but seriously ahaha. I always avoided mositurisers up until a couple of years ago, because every experience I've ever had with them has ended up with me breaking out in spots within 24 hours of using it. Awful, awful, awful. But then... think in a movie, where the rain clouds part to reveal a rainbow and streams of sunshine, a group of choirboys singing, birds tweeting... that's what happened after I used this Soap & Glory Fab Pore Daily Moisture Lotion because, wait for it, I didn't break out!

This Moisture Lotion is lightweight and breathable, which I think is crucial when it comes to spot-prone skin like mine, as it doesn't clog up my pores. It absorbs easily within a few seconds, so there's none of that heavy, sit-on-your-skin feeling like you get with some moisturisers, but it still does the job! My skin is soft, for the most part spot-free (bad diet, whoops), smooth, and after all those bonuses this Fab Pore Moisture Lotion still does the essential task of keeping my skin from drying out after cleansing  (⌒▽⌒)☆

Beauty | Just Arrived: Boots Haul

Hey there all my gorgeous followers!

How are you all doing today?

So, I've been running out of a few things, a couple of which are must-haves in my make-up/skincare routine, which gave me the perfect excuse to splurge a little! ♪(ﾟ▽^*)ﾉ⌒☆

The two things I desperately needed to re-purchase were the moisturiser and the brow pencil; the moisturiser is very lightweight so it doesn't make me break out (although I wish it had SPF or UV protection), and the brow pencil is genuinely the only one I've found so far that is light enough to match my natural eyebrow colour! Both are necessities in my skincare and make-up routines.

Aside from the Smashbox Contour Kit, the other Soap & Glory purchases are different versions of products I already own. I have the Soap & Glory Trick and Treatment concealer, but found it too yellow on my skin so I bought the Blur and Brighten Crayon to replace it, and I've been using the One Heck of a Blot Mattifying Powder, which has worked for me for the past year or so, and I just fancied a change which is why I bought the Kick Ass Retouch Pressed Powder. I'm excited to see what the new ones are like in comparison (oﾟ▽ﾟ)oニパッ

Now, the Smashbox Contour Kit is something I've been very interested in for a while now. I've been doing research on contouring and thought that this product was probably the best option for me; I did have a look at their Contour Stick Trio, but I couldn't figure out how to sharpen them ahahaha, nobody was talking about it in the videos I watched or blog reviews I read, and I wasn't about to buy a giant pencil sharpener just for that. I've never done contouring before, so we'll see how it goes!

Beauty | Tuesday Teasings: Tonymoly Top 5 (Korean Cosmetics)

Hello again, my lovelies! How are you all doing? (○ﾟε^○)

I've recently been very partial to Missha products and bought quite a few of them while on my hiatus, which you'll be seeing reviews of very soon, so I thought I'd change tack a bit and compile my top 5 Tonymoly products that I'm lusting after at the moment! I've always loved Tonymoly, but haven't bought any of their products in quite a while I think, so here's my Tuesday Teasings Top 5 List!

Tonymoly I'm Real Sheet Mask

Now, I didn't pick a particular one of these, because when I finally get around to buying any at all, I'm probably going to buy quite a few ahaha. Plus I wouldn't want to recommend one I personally want, when one of you, my lovely readers, might want or need a different one! I like the look of quite a few of them, like the Rice mask, and also others like the Teatree, the Broccoli, the Avocado... basically all of them! There's such a wide variety to help make your skin more beautiful, no matter what your skin problems are.

Tonymoly Wonder Butter Moisture Cream

I am obsessed with all these Korean butter skincare products at the moment!! I bought the Missha Honey Butter Pack while on my hiatus and I am absolutely in love with it  (‘∀’●)♡ The one I have is so rich and nourishing for my skin, so I'm really eager to try out some other butter products to keep my skin feeling moisturised and healthy.

Tonymoly Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack

Of course I had to include at least one Panda's Dream product, they're a classic for a reason! I've tried the eye stick, and the regular cream, and while I liked the eye stick I wasn't that big a fan of the regular cream, after application I honestly just looked like I was wearing zombie make-up or something ahaha, although to be fair at least that meant it worked in terms of evening out skin tone ahahaha. Therefore, I'm much more partial to the idea of the sleeping pack, as that way it can do its job without me feeling like an extra from the Walking Dead or something ahaha.

Tonymoly Dalcom Gloss Delight

Again, I haven't chosen a specific one as I think I'm going to buy more than one! I'm quite partial to orange tones on my skin right now, so I'm leaning towards Tomato and Tangerine, although Grape looks like such a pretty pink/purple! 

Tonymoly I'm Real Lemon Brightening Lotion

I'm really intrigued by this brightening lotion, it's part of a trio of skincare products, with the other two being a rice toner, and an avocado moisturiser. Out of the three I really want this lotion, and also the toner as I really need to add one to my routine!! But at the moment I am having a little issue with my skintone thanks to some mild scarring after I was on this hefty pain medication a couple of years ago, which gave me mild-medium acne on my cheeks. So, as this list evidently points out, I'm really focusing on evening out my skin tone, so I think this partnered with the Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack and a few sheet masks will really help me my skintone even out ヽ(*’-^*)。
